In Scratch you can make your own block! In this tutorial we will assign the instructions to turn around your sprite.

Do the usual things, then go to the More Blocks section and click the Make a block. Name the block ‘flip’ then click OK.

Drag the ‘turn [15] degrees’ block to the ‘define {flip}’ block.

Then drag the ‘wait [1] seconds’ block to the define script but change the [1] to [0.1].

Duplicate the script then add it to the script again 24 times (I know, a lot of times!)

Then drag over a ‘when green flag clicked’ block and add the ‘flip’ you created.

Click the green flag and your sprite should do a flip.

You can use the ‘Make a Block’ function for more complicated projects.
